Florin Aluminium photo albums are superb photo albums with timber-backed covers bound in high quality moire-patterned fabric with brushed aluminium panels mounted on the front and back covers. These albums are made with Italian book-bound pageblocks which are skilfully covered in Australia by our professional bookbinders, placing them most definitely amongst the finest large dry mount albums available.
Albums contain 40 black acid-free dry-mount leaves in each album made from heavy black card around 280gsm, providing 80 usable surfaces, and protective ricepaper-patterned interleaving between each leaf. Pages are double-spaced at the spine, so the albums won't flare when filled with photos.
This album comes with a 2x3 inch vertical cameo. This can be left blank, showing the black binding material, or you may wish to trim a photo to size and mount it in the cameo using glue, double-sided tape, etc.
Each Florin album is supplied in a black card slip-case, but you may choose to add a Classic large black timber photo album box.
DIMENSIONS
Florin photo albums are 30x37cm overall (12"x14.5"), and have a page surface of 285mm x 350mm (11.2" x 13.8") - this is the maximum page surface onto which you can safely mount photos. These photo albums can take up to three 7"x5" photos per page (240 enlargements in total), or five 6"x4" photos per page (400 photos in total), and can fit a portrait 8"x12" print or landscape 8"x10" print easily.
